With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Risha Piekarski, OB”M, matriarch of a large Lubavitch family and longtime resident of Crown Heights. She passed away on Shabbos, 4 Cheshvan, 5777. She was 98 years old.
She passed away in the city of Tzfas, where she lived the last years of her life.
She is survived by her children Alexander Ziskind – Crown Heights; Ephraim – Crown Heights; Avrohom Abba – Crown Heights; Yosef Yitzchok – Tel Aviv; Rochel Rubin – Albany, NY; Sara Marzel –Tzfas; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The Levaya is today, Sunday in Eretz Yisroel.
Zissel will be sitting Shiva in Crown Heights at his house 513 Crown Street.
Davening times are as follows: Shachris – 9:30, Mincha – 4:30 and Maariv – Bizmaano.
