I’l l always remember his wonderful smile. He always made me feel that he was really happy to see me. I think of him often even though I’m far away (living in Israel since 1982).

I remember the letter I sent Rabbi Feldman, informing him I was going off to college, in of all places, southern Colorado. I told him of his spere of influence on this rough around the edges type who never fit into the Beth Jacob mold.

It was those Monday nights at the Lubavitcher Center playing hockey with plastic sticks that I really got to know the man out of the classroom; his warmth, his generosity.

I regret not reaching out to him later in life to thank him for trying to instill the belief in myself.

Rest in peace my good friend.
