To further the show of support that the PTA received at the recent Annual Dinner, a PTA Brunch was organized in the main ballroom of Oholei Torah this past Sunday afternoon, June 7th, 20 Sivan. Many mothers joined the event, in an effort to become more involved, contribute ideas, and consider how they too can be a part of this vibrant organization.
Divrei Torah was heard from Rabbi Hershel Lustig, Dean, and a Question and Answer period was arranged with the incoming principal of grades 7&8 and Interim Dean, Rabbi Michoel Druin. Those who participated in the brunch were inspired and impressed as they anticipate an open working relationship for the coming year.
A video presentation highlighting the activities of the PTA was presented and round table discussions on new ideas to be implemented for the coming year which directly benefit the young Talmidim of Oholei Torah occurred. During the summer months, the PTA will be joining the ongoing efforts in various renovations of the recreation facilities. The current PTA members look forward to the coming year as they expand their efforts and membership.
