Sunday, the 17th of Kislev – devastating fire destroys the school and dorm building of Bnos Rabbeinu High School of Chicago, IL.
For eight months – a vacant gutted building. No sounds of Torah. No hum of energy. Instead – the silence of boarded up windows and weeds.
Sunday, the 17th of Av – plans for the New Bnos Rabbeinu High School have been completed.
“Hashem took away our school from us – Hashem destroyed the Bnos Rabbeinu building- to give us something far better. This isn’t about a building renovation. This is the start of a new Bnos Rabbeinu” said Mrs. Tsyrl Turen, principal of Bnos Rabbeinu.
Bnos Rabbeinu is known for focusing on Ruchnius and Pnimius, not Gashmius. A completely new building designed by a top Chicago architect precisely for our needs is honing the focus on Gashmius enhancement.
