The famed photographer, Reb Levi Yitzchak Freidin is known for his most amazing footage he took during his visits of Tishrei by the Rebbe. In fact, he would produce a documentary each year containing the highlights of his footage, and have it shown at a grand viewing in Eretz Yisroel. After Freidin’s passing Jewish Educational Media acquired his highlight footage shown in Eretz Yisroel.

Recently, the rest of the Freidin collection – anything which has not been included in highlights spanning from 5738-5748, were given to RebbeDrive.

The old reels have been sent to the best companies to preserve every moment of these precious videos, and Boruch Hashem this was successful done.

We are now in the process of converting the audio track, which is scheduled to be completed shortly.

In celebration of this new treasure found, we are pleased to share a preview of Tishrei with the Rebbe 5738, 40 years.

This preview has been prepared for the Bruchim Haboim of the thousands of guests that traveled to the Rebbe for Tishrei in the hope that we will be able to soon present you with this year’s footage of the Rebbe, with the Hisgalus now!

This project has been made possible in memory of the famed Chossid, Reb Zalman A”h Gurary.
