Beginning with Shabbat Shuvah, 6th Tishrei, the influx of guests to the 770 was noticeable, among the guests, the large families who came stood out – men, women and children, for the year of Hakhel.
At Chatzos on Monday, the Pushkas began to rustle, alongside them the crowing of the chickens. From the early hours of the night, the crowds did Kaparos at President and Kingston in front of 1414.
The commotion on Erev Yom Kippur began at an early hour. Many are in a hurry to finish all the preparations, asking for Lekach with confidence that this time we will see the Rebbe serving everyone a piece of honey cake.
Some Temimim go out on a quick mivtzoim, returning to prepare for Mincha. Mincha with the Rebbe in 770 was packed with thousands of residents and guests.

At the end of Yom Kippur, many flock to 770 for Neila with the Rebbe, MH”M. which included Napoleon’s march and Shofar, concluding with L’shana Haba B’Yerushalayim.
