Tuesday, Vov Iyar the Bochurim of 770 took action and turned an ordinary weekly shiur into a one-of-a-kind event, participated by hundreds of Bochurim and Anash.
The shiur was in connection with Vov Iyar, the 21st day of the Omer, which is connected to “Malchus ShebeTiferes” – Malchus referring to Moshiach and Tiferes referring to Torah. Thus, as the Rebbe MH”M said on Parshas Tazria-Metzora 5751, by learning Torah about Moshiach and Geulah we can hasten the coming of Moshiach in the fastest and most direct way.
The overarching theme of this special shiur was that the focal point of our lives is to reach the Geulah. This is evident from the reason given by Chazal for Creation itself – the ultimate redemption and the coming of Moshiach.
The shiur was delivered by Rabbi Eli Landa of Crown Heights, and was dedicated L’ilui Nishmas Rochel Chana bas Yosef Shmuel Halevi.
