Prestigious Yeshiva Relocates To The Poconos
The prestigious Yeshiva Gedola Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch of Seagate, which was founded last year, will relocate to the former Daniels-Top-O-The Poconos resort in the Poconos Mountains for the upcoming school year ● The 50-acre campus, which includes sports facilities, a pool, and bunkhouses will also host Camp Gan Israel for the students of Cheder Ohr Menachem of Crown Heights ● Full Story, Pictures
The prestigious Yeshiva Gedola Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch of Seagate, which was founded last year to accommodate students graduating the Mesivta Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch of Queens, has outgrown its current facilities in Brooklyn, and have finalized the purchase of a new property in the Poconos.
The former Daniels-Top-O-The Poconos resort in the Poconos Mountains, a 50-acre campus, which includes beautiful accommodations, sports fields and a pool, will be the new home of the Yeshiva, under the Mashpi’im Rabbi Aharon Leib Raskin and Rabbi Shmaryahu Matusof who will join the Yeshiva for the next year, and directed by the Menahel Rabbi Yisroel Krasniansky.
The property will also serve as campgrounds for the Cheder Ohr Menachem Camp during the summer.
In an exclusive interview with Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hendel, board-member of the Yeshiva, he wished to thank the donors who made this purchase a reality, and expressed his hope that this new campus will allow the Yeshiva to educate the new generation of Chassidishe Bochurim and Yungeleit.

i wanted to know when u say that the food is yeshiva style, does that mean really not good food? or hearty meals but not fancy? some boys camp give good food, and others dont. Please let me know. Also going for a weekend is from thursday night? or from friday? third of all.. what attractions are in the area?
No real attractions … this use to be a resort called Daniel’s Top O The Pocono . I grew up going here .. it was a great time … you are about 30 to 45 minutes from everything .. Buschkill falls .. callies candy kitchen . Holly pottery .. there is a 9 hole golf course right down the road … candle shops .. ceasar’s Pocono palace..
