Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp appear to have stopped working for many users in the United States, across the UK and Europe.
Thousands of users have complained that the apps and websites will no longer load content, including statuses, photos and videos.
Instagram users across the globe reported problems logging in, sharing or otherwise accessing the photo and video service on mobile apps and the web on Wednesday.
Instagram began having issues since 8:45 AM ET, with most of the user, reports concentrated in the Northeast U.S. and northern Europe, according to DownDetector.com.
WhatsApp users reported to YWN that while texts were working, no media was loading – including images, video, and voice notes.
Facebook, which owns the three sites, is yet to comment on the issue.
