Yossi Gerson, the man from Lawrence, NY who has been missing since Shmini Atzeres, has been found alive and well, B”H.
A $20,000 reward was offered by friends of the family for information leading to Yossi’s whereabouts.
At around 10:30 PM on Motzaei Shabbos, he was found safe and healthy in the Rockaway area of New York.
The search effort had previously lead to Crown Heights, after a Yeshiva student reported seeing him earlier on Shmini Atzeres returning to 770 from Tahalucha, when Lubavitchers traditionally visit Shuls in surrounding neighborhoods to enliven others’ Yom Tov spirits.
The family thanks the outpouring of support, Tefillos and the hundreds of volunteers who searched for the past few days.
