At Wappingers Falls, a large crowd attended the first ever Menorah lighting in the village of Wappingers Falls with the Mayor, Trustees, Village Clerk, County Legislator, fire chief and State Assemblyman. The mayor spoke to the crowd followed by the Menorah Lighting. Then from high above, parachutes with Chanukah gelt came flying down as the crowd quickly picked up there Chanukah goodies.

At Hyde Park Town Hall, the annual Chanukah Menorah celebration at Hyde Park Town Hall with Town Supervisor Al Torreggiani in attendance.
