A new sefer, Otzar Pirushim Al Tanya, has been published in honor of Yud Tes Kislev.
The Sefer is a 584 paged encyclopedia of commentaries on the first 3 perakim of Tanya, compiled from hundreds of seforim written by Geonim-Chassidim, Roshei Yeshivos, and Mashpyim, from each of the seven generations of Chabad.
The Sefer is unique in that it also contains a wealth of Heoros written by Tmimim and Anash in the numerous Torah journals published by Yeshivos worldwide.
For over fourty years, Rabbi Eliyahu Matusof has been collecting Pirushim on Tanya published in these journals. “Many of these Kovtzim no longer exist,” explains the author, “neither in print, digital repositories, or libraries”.
The material is organized into sections so that the reader can easily refer to any particular phrase or word in Tanya and subsequently find an abundance of questions, elaboration, and discussion.
The Sefer is appended by a useful index of names for those who want to look up a Heoroh or Peirush of a particular author.
Otzar Pirushim Al Tanya is available in Judaica stores in New York and Israel, and online.
