For the past 14 years the Chabad House of Cozumel has been open 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. There’s no such thing as a shabbos off or even a vacation. The Chabad House is always active!
There is no need to sign up in advance, or even inform anyone you’re coming. Every person who walks in, is warmly met by our staff who take care of their every need, spiritually and materialistically.
For us this is not unusual, this is the mission that the Lubavitcher Rebbe gave us.
This is our life, because we were brought into this world in order to give and bring the Geulah!
This Includes:
• Shabbos meal with approximately 200 guests
• Rosh Hashana with 900 guests
• Pesach with over 1000 guests
• Tens of thousands of cups of coffee and a million smiles 😊
Behind this huge establishment there are 30 employees, 4 young rabbi’s and another married couple that help with all the programs.
All this costs a lot of money to run.
Thank G-d, we manage to organize half the annual sum from permanent donations and earnings, but there is still a large sum that we need to gather before the end of the civil year.
This is where you come in.
We’ve put together a campaign to find as many partners who can to join us. The amount of donation really doesn’t matter.
