Every day at the Menachem Education Foundation, we meet exceptional mechanchim and mechanchos who help their students aim high and achieve their potential, often meeting or overcoming considerable challenges along the way.
And though many of these hardworking mechanchim may tell you that the work is a reward in and of itself, we know that these selfless givers deserve to be recognized.
MEF established The Chinuch Awards to raise the stature of those in Chinuch, through recognizing exceptional teachers who have made a real impact on the lives of our children. The Awards acknowledge the impact of the very best teachers – not only on their students but on the communities around them.
The Chinuch Awards offers everyone the opportunity to say “thank you” to an exceptional mechanech and show them how much we appreciate the hard work they do every single day. Through community-based nominations, the awards will spotlight two of the Chabad world’s most inspirational teachers, award them a monetary prize of $3600, and acknowledge them on an international level.
Anyone can take part: students, parents, colleagues and principals can all go online and say thank you.
The closing date for nominations is Daled Sivan (June 10) and finalists will be announced on Tes Sivan (June 15.) An expert panel of veteran educators will choose two award recipients (one man and one woman) and the public announcement will take place at theChabad Chinuch Convention in Tammuz.
