Thursday night, going into Chof Daled Shvat, was 127 years since the passing of Rebbetzin Menucha Rochel Slonim, the Mitteler Rebbe’s daughter, the Alter Rebbe’s granddaughter.
There was an event that took place at her Kever, in Chevron, the event was organized by the Shliach Rabbi Danny Cohen.
The Tehillim was led by Rabbi Yosef Hartman, a descendant of the Rebbetzin. Following the Tehillim the Nigun of the “Kapelya” was sung, followed by a few other Nigunim. Rabbi Tzvi Halperin and Rabbi Zev Dov Slonim each addressed the crowd.
After Maariv the crowd continued to Farbreng in the “Merkaz Gutnik” center.
The farbrengen was emceed by Rabbi Hartman, in addition to the previous speakers, Rabbi Boruch Nachson, Rabbi Danny Cohen, R’ Noam Arnon and Rabbi Moshe Gelbstein also spoke.
The evening ended off with joyous dancing.
