Chabad Columbus is helping adults over the age of 70 who are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine as of February 1 to sign up for an appointment to receive a shot.
Due to the difficulty of navigating the online system used to register vaccines for some Ohio seniors, Chabad Columbus, based in the Lorishottenstein Chabad Center in New Albany, Intervened to assist in booking for free.
Chabad Columbus Secretary-General Rabbi Areyah Kaltmann told Columbus Jewish News on February 1 that his office has already registered vaccines for about 20 older people. No personal information is required to assist you in signing up. You only need your personal name, address, phone number, and email address (if any).
“We don’t charge money-we do this for Mitzvah,” Cultman said, “… we are here as a bridge.”
