A delegation of Chabad Chassidim led by Rabbi Yehuda Lipsh – the rabbi’s Shliach and director of the Chabad house in Ramat Aviv 3, and Rabbi Mendy Belinitsky, of Agudas Chabad in Israel, met in honor of Sukkos with Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid in his office in Yerushalyim and they gave him the Daled Minim.
The Prime Minister warmly welcomed the guests and proudly told his people that Rabbi Lipsh is “the Rabbi of my neighborhood.”
Rabbi Belinitsky presented the prime minister with the Daled Minim with an Esrog from Kfar Chabad’s orchards and explained the importance of observing the mitzvah on the yom Tov and the important message of the unity of Israel that is learned from this mitzvah.
Rabbi Lipsh spoke about the importance of the year Shnas Hakhel, about the great power that one receives this year to gather and unite, and about the request of the Rebbe MH”M to do as many “Hakhel” gatherings as possible this year.
The Prime Minister thanked them warmly for the visit.
