A Lubavitch Hatzolah Member was attacked today in Crown Heights. It happened at about 8;30 this evening, while the Lubavitchers was walking along Eastern Parkway between Nostrand and Rogers Avenues. Reports suggest that an assailant sneaked up on him and slashed him with a blade on his upper back.

Himself a volunteer with Hatzalah, he was rushed to Kings County Hospital where his deep lecerations were stitched up.

The victim is reportedly in good condition, and will be discharged from the hospital within 24 hours.

One witness described the attacker as a young black man wearing a hoody, though that has yet to be confirmed. The attacker managed to escape, and is still at large.

Though this mode of attack is an ongoing epidemic in Israel used by Arabs to target Jews, police have yet to determine whether the attack was linked to terrorism.

In fact, in what appears to be an effort by the NYPD to avoid tensions and deescalate concern about the attack, the NYPD stated that the victim was “slashed”, not ” stabbed”, as has been originally reported.

Vaad Hakahol Cheirman Zaki Tamir told the Algemeiner that, “People have to be very vigilant, there are no coincidences here. There are a lot of people that hate us and the haters are going to use every excuse they can to come after Jews,” before adding, “I don’t know if it is a hate crime or mugging, but it’s hard to imagine it is an isolated incident.”

Shmira strongly advises the community to stay vigilant and aware of their surroundings.

These terror attacks can be prevented if we follow what the Rebbe Shlita said about ShLemus Haretz.

Of Course we also have to follow all kinds of other precautions B’Derech HaTeva
For Example: only walk in groups in that area after dark, Learn Martial Arts, Carry Cell Phones etc.

But following what the Rebbe Said about Sh’Lemus Ha’Aretz is also necesary

The Rebbe Shlita said: If Israel gives away land that Hashem helped them win in a miraculous way during the June 1967 SIX day war this will put the lives of Jews all over the world in danger

Dovid Shlomo Hakohen ben Shterna Malka, ‘Refuah Shelaima!’ Brooklyn Boro President Eric Adams will probably give a response as he did last year when ‘Gourmet Glatt’ was overrun by (about) 30 teenagers.
