In preparation of the upcoming new year, a delegation of Aguch of Eretz Yisroel met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe (Bogie) Ya’alon.
The delegation was organized by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Blinitzky, Rabbi Yisroel Miedntz’ik, Rabbi Avreimi Midanchik and Rabbi Mati Tochfld, they were joined by members of the ‘Yad Leyeled Hameychad’, an organization for special needs children. Led by Major General Gabi Ofir and Rabbi Zacharya Landau.
The delegation brought along with them ten young teenagers with special needs who do volunteer work in the IDF, led by Lt. Ariel Almog.
The Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense were very excited to meet the soldiers and commended the work volunteering to assist the IDF in a variety of areas, and blessed them and their families with a happy new year full of achievements and good health.
Rabbi Blinitzki blew the shofar and gave the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense honey from hives of Kfar Chabad. A tradition started by his grandfather, former Chairman of Aguch, late Rabbi Shlomo Midanchik.
The event caused a big Kiddush Hashem when many of these individuals, and many others, have posted the pictures to their social networks, to be seen by viewers around the world.
