Friends and family packed the Chabad House of Flatbush this past Motzei Shabbos for a Hakhel Melave Malka in memory of Avraham Dovid and Pesha Leah who were tragically taken from us in a horrific car accident 6 years ago.
The event began with heartfelt words by Avraham Dovid’s father, Rabbi Zalman Liberow, who discussed how Hashem only bestows goodness upon His children, yet we beg Hashem to rain upon us only revealed goodness.
He also took the opportunity to publicly thank Hashem for the tremendous miracles He performed for him and his family and concluded with studying a Mishna in the merit of the souls of Avraham Dovid and Pesha Leah.
A special Hakhel video was then shown followed by a video presentation with moments from the joyful life of Avraham Dovid.
A friend and classmate of Avraham Dovid, Mordechai Mendel Cadaner, emotionally shared some memories of his dear friend followed by some final words by Avraham Dovid’s brother, Sholom Ber Liberow, who shared the Rebbe’s message approaching Yud Shevat – highlighting the theme of strengthening Jewish and Chassidishe education.
The evening was infused with the hope that we will soon be reunited with Avraham Dovid and Pesha Leah and we will dance together with them, with the revelation of the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach NOW!
