On Sunday afternoon, approximately 4:30 PM, Shmira received numerous calls for a person running around with a knife. The incident occurred near Empire and Brooklyn.
The suspect was quickly located on Sterling St. Shmira members then kept an eye on the perpetrator, while the police was called, who soon arrived and arrested the perpetrator.
Shmira members then began to search for the knife and found it nearby under a car.
Two separate people were assaulted previously by this same perpetrator, and assault charges were added on as well.
