Please take note that there has been a police involved shooting in the Crown Heights neighborhood yesterday and certain outside groups have been seen on social media attempting to organize demonstrations in the neighborhood today.
We have been assured by the NYPD that there will be extra patrols in the streets.
We ask people to be aware of their surroundings and be extra vigilant. Try to walk in groups and in well-lit areas over Yomtov. Please avoid groups of demonstrators should you see any.
Do not get in to any verbal arguments and walk away from anyone that attempts to start one.
Do not hesitate to call 911 and the Shmira hotline @ 718-221-0303, 24/7 should the need arise C”V.
We have no information causing alarm, we are just advising people to be prudent and use common sense, we are sure that Hashem will keep us safe.
