Ohr Menachem boys’ elementary school of Crown Heights, as per the Rebbe’s directive, continues learning throughout the summer weeks, while many other boys ended school weeks ago.
Last week Ohr Menachem held their graduation celebration in the ballroom of Oholei Torah.
The students and their parents participated in the event. Rabbi Menachem Mendel Yusewitz, the school principal, spoke to the crowd. A representative from the parents and from the students, both spoke words of inspiration.
Rabbi Aharon Yaackov Shwei and Rabbi Yosef Yeshaya Braun, members of the Beis Din of Crown Heights, were present as well. Showing their appreciation and respect to the beautiful Cheder, that constantly is working to make the Rebbe happy.
The seventh grade class that is graduating, were acknowledged for their work, and wished much Hatzalacha in their upcoming year, in the Yeshiva of Queens.
The crowd was entertained by a badchan, and prizes were given out to those that excelled in Mishnayos Ba’al Peh.
