Tishrei is right around the corner and Eshel – Hachnosas Orchim, directed by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hacohen Hendel extends a warm welcome to all Bochurim, Anash and girls from every Yeshiva and community.
The organization, which was founded by Rabbi Moshe Yeruslavsky, OB”M, has received encouragement from the Rebbe throughout the years, and is now a large operation with over workers under the direction of Rabbi Hendel.
Despite the many years since Gimmel Tamuz, thousands of Anash and Bochurim come to 770 to spend the Yomim Tovim. Alongside the Bochurim who are a majority, a large group of girls also come under “Achos Ha’tmimim” and a camp for young children.
The organization has grown tremendously over the years, and today it is considered one of the largest Chesed institutions in the world, thanks to its main sponsor R’ Sholom Ber Drizin.
Among the departments of Eishel one can find the ‘Gashmius’ Department that provides three meals each day to the thousands of guests, and alongside it there is the ‘Ruchniyus’ Department in charge of learning and Farbrengens, the Medical Department taking care of emergencies, and the Lodging Department.
“Seeing those who claimed that there is no need to spend Tishrei in 770, taking action and organizing activities and Shiurim and trying to emulate Hachnosas Orchim, is a reason for happiness and gladness” say the organizers at Eshel.
