The Central Lubavitch Yeshiva – 770 hosted a special kinus Torah yesterday in the large shul of Beis Chayenu. The event was held in accordance to the Rebbe’s instruction to hold kinusei Torah on isru chag. Shortly after the end of yom tov, ChabadInfo.com photographer Dov Ber Hechtman stood over a packed 770, camera in hand, to capture the uplifting scene of thousands crammed into the large shul for the Rebbe MH”M’s farbrengen.
An Achdus Kinus took place in the large shul of 770 as a preparation for Shavuos on Thursday evening. Speakers included Rabbi Avrohom Osdoba and Rabbi Yosef Yeshaya Braun, as well as Rabbi Yosef Hecht, Shliach to Eilat, Israel, and Rabbi Menachem Mendel Gluckowsky of Rechovot, Israel. Together with their Shliach, Rabbi Yisrael Netanelov, a group of 40 men from the Austrian capital Vienna came to spend an uplifting Shabbos in the Rebbe’s daled amos. Following a two year pause since their last trip, the group excitedly soaked in the aura of Beis Chayenu and Crown Heights, inspiring them to continue their lives as Jews back at home. In connection with New York State’s impending decrees which will destroy, r”l, the world of chinuch, the rabbonim of Crown Heights Beis Din called for yesterday to be a special day of tefillah. In fulfillment of the rabbonims’ request, a large children’s rally was held yesterday in Beis Chayenu with participation of the neighborhood’s schools.
