With sadness we inform you of the passing of R’ Sholom Dovber Alperowitz, OB”M, he was 85 years old. R’ Sholom Ber resided lately in Los Angeles, and passed away on Erev Shabbos.
R’ Sholom Dovber was born in Russia, and moved to Eretz Yisroel in his early years. As a bochur he came to 770 and remained in the USA, and after getting married he worked in Merkos, and as a Shliach and Mashpia. He was mekarev many Yidden in his unique fashion.
He is survived by – yibodlu l’chaim tovim – his wife, Mrs. Susha Alperowitz and children:
R’ Zushe Alperowitz (Kiryat Gat, Israel), Mrs. Tila Dubrawsky (Curitiba, Brazil), Mrs. Rochel Berkowitz (Huntington Beach, CA), Mrs. Bluma Hecht (Orange, CT), R’ Yossi Alperowitz (Bournemouth, England) and R’ Kuti Alperowitz (Cape Cod, MA).
