With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Rabbi Zev Wolf (Velvel) Kesselman, OB”M, one of the elder Chassidim and respected Mashpia of Anash in Kfar Chabad. Reb Velvel passed away on Sunday, Gimmel Adar Shaini. He was 91-years-old.
R’ Velvel born to his parents, Rabbi and Mrs. Shlomo Chaim Kesselman, together with his twin brother, Rabbi Shalom Dovber Kesselman.
He is survived by his wife Chana, and children; Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Kesselman – South Africa; Rabbi Eliezer Kesselman – London, England; Mrs. Shterna Gruzman – Rishon Letziyon; Mrs. Rivka Gottlieb – Talpiyot; Rabbi Mendel Kesselman – Crown Heights; and Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Kesselman – Kfar Chabad; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his his twin brother, Rabbi Shalom Dovber Kesselman, OB”M, following a car accident.
Rabbi Mendel Kesselman will be sitting Shiva in Crown Heights at 781 Eastern Parkway #A4.
