With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Rabbi Naftali Kraus, OB”M. He is the father of the secretary of the Crown Heights Beis Din, Rabbi Shmuel Kraus. He passed away on Shabbos, 11 Shevat.
He was 85-years-old, just one day short of his 86th birthday.
Rabbi Naftali Kraus was born in Budapest, Hungary on 12 Shevat in the year 5692. When he was a young Bochur, his family moved to Eretz Yisroel.
He was a famous Lubavitch writer, he also worked for the ‘Maariv’ newspaper.
He is survived by his three children; Rabbi Shmuel Kraus – Crown Heights; Miryam Shaindel Harpez and Rachel Nov – both of Eretz Yisroel.
