We regret to inform you of the passing of Rabbi Mordechai Tzvi SimonOBM, a resident of Crown Heights. He passed away on Thursday, the 11th of Tishrei, 5783.
He was 90 years old.
A native of New Jersey, Mordechai was sent at the tender age of ten to learn in Tomchei Temimim in Crown Heights.
While there, Mordechai was zoiche to have two Yechidusin with the Frierdiker Rebbe.
In 1955, he married his wife Sheila and settled with his family in New Jersey. In his later years he moved to Crown Heights where his children live.
He is survived by his wife Sheila, and their children; Hindie Silver (Crown Heights), Malkie Brennan (Crown Heights), Moishy Simon (Crown Heights), Shloimie Simon (Crown Heights), Mendy Simon (Crown Heights), Yossi Simon(Crown Heights), as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The levaya will take place today, Thursday, passing by 770 at approximately 3:30pm.
Shiva will tale place at 653 Montgomery St. through Erev Sukkos:
Shacharis: 7:30am, 8:15am, and 9:00am.
Mincha: 6:00pm and 6:15pm
Maariv: Bzman
