With great sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of Rabbi Gershon Mendel Garelik, OB”M, the longtime Shliach of the Rebbe to Milan, Italy. He passed away on Shabbos, Rosh Chodesh Adar. He was 89-years-old.
Rabbi Garelik was born in Iyar 5692 in the former Soviet Union to his parents Rabbi Meir and Rebbetzin Rivkah Leah. On 11 Kislev 5719 he was sent to Milan by the Rebbe where he has dedicated his life to Shlichus ever since.
He is survived by his wife Basya, his three sons, and four daughters.
