With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Reb Yitzchok Yaakov (Jerry) Simon, OB”M, a longtime resident, and a charitable caterer of Crown Heights. He passed away on Shabbos morning, 4 Adar Alef. He was 84 years old.
Yitzchok ran a kosher catering business and catered for the Kinus Hashluchim, dinners of the Machne Israel Development Fund and for guests joining the Rebbe for the month of Tishrei, for many years.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Sarah Malka, and his children Chana Etka Fefferman – Flatbush; Tziril Goldman – Crown Heights; Aliza Sheinfeld – Crown Heights; Nechama Dahan – Montreal, Canada.
He is survived by his brother Mottel Simon of Crown Heights.
Levaya will take place today, Sunday, at around 1:00pm, and will be passing 770 at around 1:45pm.
Shiva will be held at 391 Crown St. Family requests no visitors after 10:00pm.
