With great sadness we inform you of the passing of R’ Yisroel Plotnik, OB”M, a longtime resident of Crown Heights. He passed away today, Thursday, 24 Teves. He was 99-years-old.
R’ Yisroel was known for his kindness, he also fought the Nazis in World War II as an American Soldier
He is survived by his two daughters Chaya Lieblich of Crown Heights and Sara Weinstein of Crown Heights.
He is predeceased by his wife Miriam, OB”M, who passed away thirteen years ago.
The Levaya will take place today, Thursday, 12:00 pm at Shomrei Hadas and passing by 770 at around 12:45 pm.
The family will be sitting Shiva at 821 Montgomery St.
