With great sadness, we regret to inform you of the passing of Rabbi Hershel Hecht, OB”M, of Kfar Chabad. He passed away on the first day of Sukkos. He was 78-years-old.
He was the son of the famous Chossid Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Hecht.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Batya Hecht, Kfar Chabad; and their children: Mrs. Chana Shmulevitch, Or Akiva, ER”Y; Mrs. Rivky Lehrer, Ashkelon, ER”Y; R’ Yisroel Hecht, Postville, Iowa; R’ Shlomo Zalman Hecht, Kiryat Gat, ER”Y; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
