With sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Sema Zeilingold, OB”M, a Shlucha to Minnesota for many years. She passed away earlier today, Tuesday, 22 Sivan, 5776. She was 73 years old.
Her parents were Rabbi Moshe Yitzchok and Rivka Hecht, the Frierdiker Rebbe’s Shluchim to Connecticut.
She came with her husband, Yibadel L’Chayim Tovim, Rabbi Asher Zeilingold to run the Adath Israel Synagogue in Minnesota.
She is survived by her husband, Rabbi Asher Zeilingold.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Miriam Rochel Piekarski – Hamden, CT and grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings, Rabbi Yossi Hecht – Eilat, Israel; Rabbi Shea Hecht – New Haven, CT; Mrs. Dreizel Kaploun – Monsey, NY; Mrs. Malkie Katz – New Haven, CT; and Mrs. Shani Fellig– Montreal, Canada; and Mrs. Rochel Mathless – New Haven, CT.
The Levaya will be tomorrow, Wednesday, at 6:45 a.m. at Adath Israel Synagogue.
The Kvura will be at the Old Montefiore Cemetery in New York in proximity to the resting place of her parents at 12:30 p.m.
