With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Rochel Shapiro, OB”M, of Yerushalayim. She passed away on the first night of Rosh Hashana, 5776.
Mrs. Shapiro was the daughter of the Chosid R’ Chaim Ber Lerman of Bnai Brak, OB”M.
She is survived by her children: Rabbi Eli Shapiro – Crown Heights, Mrs. Ita Filipofsky and Rivka Friedman of Eretz Yisroel.
She is also survived by her siblings, Rabbi Zvi Lerman – Crown Heights, Rabbi Sholom Leib Lerman – Bnai Brak, Rabbi Menachem Lerman – Crown Heights, Rabbi Yosef Lerman, Mrs. Ita Cohen and Mrs. Miriam Friedman all of Eretz Yisroel.
