With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Devorah Fox, OB”M, a longtime resident of Crown Heights. Mrs. Fox was the wife of Reb Shmuel Tzvi Fox. She passed away on Shabbos, Acharon Shel Pesach. She was 93-years-old.
Mrs. Fox was a member of the Chevra Kadisha, and was involved in the early years of n’shei Chabad, especially in arranging shiurei chassidus, as well was instrumental in arranging tehillim groups for Shabbos Mevarchim.
She is survived by her 3 children: Rabbi Berel Fox – Crown Heights; Mrs. Sara Gottlieb – Oak Park, MI; and Mrs. Shifra Galperin – Crown Heights; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, many of them Shluchim of the Rebbe around the world.
The Levaya will take place tomorrow, Sunday, leaving Shomrei Hadas in Boro Park at 2:00pm, passing by 770 at 2:30 pm.
