With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Chana Sorhagen, OB”M, longtime member of the Lubavitch community in Morristown, NJ. She passed away Tuesday, 12 Kislev, 5776. She was 97 years old.
Mrs. Sorhagen was known as a beloved community figure, who always had a kind word for everyone she met.
Each year, she would donate generously to the Morristown Chabad Cheder by sponsoring the “Maftir Yonah” prayer, among other various causes.
She is survived by 2 sons and a daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The graveside funeral will take place today, Thursday, at 11:30 AM at Hebrew Cemetery in Randolph NJ, 100 South Road.
