With great sadness, we regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Chana Etka Feldman, OB”M, from Crown Heights who served as the principal of Bais Rivkah elementary for over 40 years.
Mrs. Feldman comes from the famed Rosenblum family in Montreal which was known throughout the years as one of the only families to keep Shabbos in Canada before World War II.
She is survived by her husband Rabbi Zushe Feldman and her children: Mrs. Esther Raitman, Wilmette, Illinois; Mrs. Sara Sharfstein, Crown Heights; Rabbi Mendy Feldman, Halifax, Nova Scotia; Rabbi Zalmy Feldman, Crown Heights; Mrs. Dina Deutch, Samara, Russia; Rabbi Yitzchok Feldman, Bend, Oregon; Mrs. Rivkie Hecht, Morristown, NJ and Rabbi Shmuly Feldman, Clay County, Florida.
She is also survived by her sister Mrs. Sara Miriam Kahanov and her brother Rabbi Velvel Rosenblum of Crown Heights.
She is predeceased by her brothers, Rabbi Ephraim Rosenblum of Pittsburgh, and R’ Sholem Rosenblum of Crown Heights.
