With great sadness and pain we inform you of the untimely passing of Chaya Hadar Jerufi, OB”M, a young girl who galvanized thousands to do good deeds and pray for her recovery. She passed away on Monday, 11 Sivan. She passed away at the young age of 8 years old.

She had been battling an illness for the past few years, and many around the world united to pray and recite Tehillim in her merit.

A number of years ago a terrible illness was discovered after she had not been feeling well. Her family, led by her father – a noted and popular singer in Israel, a massive campaign was undertaken in the merit of her recovery.

On Erev Shavout her father Yisroel wrote “In recent days her condition has deteriorated, the tumor affects her spine and she is having difficulty talking and moving her hands and feet. Now more than ever, Hadar needs our prayers, and on the holiday of Shavuot we tear the heavens in prayer for Chaya Hadar bas Dinah for a complete recovery.”

Hadar is survived by her parents Yisroel and Dina Jerufi, along with her siblings Tehilla, Yossi and Adel.

Her parents are sitting Shiva in their home on Abarbanel Rd 19 in Rechovot Israel.
